Location. Pardubice. May 21, 2023. #1. Hi guys! I have 2018 Fiat Ducato motorhome with 127,000km on the clock, now travelling in Tanzania, East Africa. Some 1,500km ago I got a fault: P2930 Clutch position sensor. It was cleared 1,000km later, and some 500km after that I started to have real problems… like gear unavailable, switching from
The transmission fluid temperature sensor keeps track of the temperature of the automatic transmission fluid that cools and lubricates the transmission. It sends its readings to the powertrain control module (PCM), which adjusts various transmission-related processes like the torque converter clutch operation and line pressure control.
Jan 12, 2016. #12. Of course! The OP meant accelerator sensor, some kind of potentiometer above the pedal. If it doesn't work you buy a new one, install it and the job's done. The throttle position sensor may or may not be present in the housing. Irrelevant because the Fiat wiring omits it, at least in the older models.
1. Sep 30, 2013. #1. Both the temperature and fuel gauges are now staying at zero on my '92 Ducato-based Hymer - a previously intermittant fault which now seems more permanent! Up till now if they were playing up they mysteriously started to work after a few kilometres, but not today!
Here is a more detailed list of the most common reasons why a temperature gauge stays on cold. 1. Faulty Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor. As we talked about, the most common problem with a faulty engine temperature reading is the coolant temperature sensor itself sending wrong information to the cluster.
I see on the last @HughJampton post the connector number - the one located under the driver's step. Thanks That's helpful. I've ordered another loom that has connectors for the temperature sensor and folding + power mirrors, but apparently it's the right side one, though LHD. Have to find the left side now to check everything will be working fine.
