The save is not showing up. So I downloaded FROST and the save, but when I get to the main menu the save does not show up. I only have the New Game option and no Continue option and it is not under the Load Save. Absolutely safe to install mid-game. The MCM Settings Manager it-self contains no scripts and store no (own) settings in your savegame. Save, load, transfer, import and export all your MCM settings at once. Transfer settings between savegames, backup your favorite settings, or send your settings to another user! E.g remove all mods, then enable a few, test to find the mod that crashes the game. If the games crash with F4SE with no mods, redownload F4SE and try again, if it still crashes check file integrity with steam, and/or re-download the game. F4SE should work with a fresh install of Fallout 4 with no problems. [deleted] • 7 yr. ago. Copy those saves to .\steam\userdata\\22380\remote\saves (or just \remote), so they are mirrored. The game should pick them up if they are in both spots. By the way, weren't you using ModOrganizer in the old installation? Because it uses profile-bound saves which should be visible if you load the game from MO. The game will be fine for about 10 minutes and then this will happen. I'm not in survival mode. It wont let me save using the in-game console commands (It will just say a prompt at the top left that is cannot save at this time) All threads I looked up said it's because the game is saving. It's so frustrating being an hour in and losing so much If the save files exist and you can not see them in game then you have the wrong save filter set. Saves are filtered in game by name and difficulty. When the game reinstalls it is going to default back to normal difficulty and your survival saves will not show. This means every so often I have to go in the saves folder and move some older saves to a Backup Saves folder I create. There is no need for this if you cycle through a limited set of saves, let's say 3. Overwriting other manual saves (as by your statement "I don't save over saves") are You should be able to save the game. Edit; Go to Documents/My Games/Fallout 4, right click on the saves folder and make sure it is set to Read Only. Since I removed all previous Fallout 4 files and cannot load any additional saves, I don't have a Saves folder to set as "Read Only". #13. 6yha0gN.
